In case you're not familiar with the concept, this is a list of 101 activities one wishes to complete in 1001 days (about 2.75 years). I may not compete them all, or I may complete more than listed (thus the bonus round). The point is to give myself momentum to continue my life moving in a positive direction, plus have a lot of fun along the way.
So here goes...
In no particular order (unless logically dictated):
Time frame: January 1, 2017 - September 29, 2019
As I finish each item, I will list its completion date, and blog posts about finished items will appear as a clickable link.
Note: This list is subject to change without notice...or with notice if I feel like it.
Note 2: I've already changed some things because since creating the list, I've moved from Alabama to Colorado.
- Finish this list (Completed 05/04/2017).
- Give myself $5 in fun money for each completed item on this list. ($180)
- Go shopping and have a fit for myself with the money. (Completed 10/19/2019). I took the fun bucks and started the decorating process in my apartment.
- Finish the Bible Correspondence Course I started ages ago. I didn't finish it, but I did make some progress on it.
- Learn to make at least 5 new recipes successfully. I only got 4 and a couple of them were questionable as to their success.
- Learn to draw.
- Redo my wardrobe.
- Donate blood at least 5 times. Hey, I tried.
- Get a massage.
- Attend a LIVE conference or workshop that is not work related.
- Attend a concert. (Completed 10/26/18) Went to CCU's symphonic band concert. It was fabulous.
- Make 200 pairs of baby booties for ministries who help new moms or minister to abortion-minded women. Sav-A-Life (117) Colorado Family Life Center (68). (185/200)

- Run a 10k

- Get down to my 6th grade weight (171 lbs).
- Get down to my goal weight (150 lbs) AND STAY THERE.
- Get a new(er) car or truck. (Completed 05/15/18)

shittyCiti Bank card. - ... Pay off student loan.
- After this, complete Dave Ramsey's baby step 3
- After this, start on Dave Ramsey's baby step 4
- Finish the A-Z Challenge I started 4 years ago. I have gotten so frustrated with trying to complete this that I'm putting a "DNF" on it and moving on. Please see post here. Though I want to keep learning to cook new things, I can't continue to throw food away on a regular basis. I can't continue to be frustrated with the dissatisfaction of bad tasting dishes. I'm done.
- Publish something...even if I have to self publish it.

I really enjoyed earning these badges, but the frustrating thing is that I don't have much to show for it. Mythical never honored my (or any other buyers) request to restock some of the badges. So, I didn't get to buy them all.
- Stay at a Bed and Breakfast or spa. (Completed 04/16/19). Stayed at the Historic Melrose Hotel in Grand Junction, Colorado. I went there to work at our Grand Junction Campus, but the B&B was wonderful. The only critique I have is that it is a "bed" not a "bed and breakfast." - Make 5 baby sets for "Auntie's Baby Shower in a Bag." project. (1). Because the materials to create these can be a little costly and I didn't want the project to be all about me, I posted this on my sister blog and Facebook page in hopes that people would want to support this endeavor, but I got no takers.
- Read through the Message Translation of the Bible.
Read through Matthew Henry's Commentary as I read through the Bible. Why I let this one go is here.- Create a basket of giveaways for the Honduras mission trip or another such mission project.
