At work, our Wednesday Bible study has been on a series called Think Like a Detective.  While the presenter has some valid points on those who wish to argue the validity of the Bible, he misses one valuable piece of information:  God searches us just as we search Him.  While we can never have all of our questions answered this side of heaven, God knows our hearts, our fears, our doubts, and He meets us right where we are.  Did he not say:
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)
Anyone who is truly seeking to know more about God and His Word will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit showing up and rewarding the search.

I don't worry about someone who is searching for God.  I worry about those who have closed their minds even to the most minute possibility that the God of the Bible is the one true Higher Power.  Even so, mine is not to debate and argue, but to assist searchers who want help.  Like the early apostles, I can't help but speak the things I've seen and heard (Acts 4:20).  At the end of a true search, God shows up.
