I am a because. I am the answer to why. Unfortunately the questions are not good why questions. They are about why sadness, pain, and loss were brought on a family. I am that because.
Before I discovered I was because, I asked a lot of why questions about my life, but I was asking the wrong things. I finally asked the right questions and discovered the center of the why maze. I thought understanding that I was the cause of the why would free me from the prison of fat and bad feelings I have surrounded myself with. It was good to discover the answers, but I do not feel better or free. It only made the prison doors more secure.
Who wants to be that kind of answer? Who wants unintentionally make others' lives hell for them? Who wants to be because?
