Hearts and Gizzards: The Simple Woman's Daybook for Thursday, May 31, 2012

Outside my window … Cloudy skies hold the blessed prospect of rain and cooler temperatures.

I am thinking... about how to market my craft business better.

I am thankful...
for open doors and new opportunities.  I’m thankful for the first 40 years.  Now let’s see if I can vastly improve the next 40.

In the kitchen...
I’ve just had no real appetite lately, so I’m just not sure.

I am wearing...
workout clothes.  I went to the track to walk, but only got in ½ a mile.  I’m just not with it today.

I am creating...
finished my first barn painting.  Got a flower pot to finish painting, then on to 4th of July items.

I am going...I went to the track and took mom to run some errands, but I’m not planning on going anywhere else.

I am wondering...about a couple of situations in my life and what to do about them.

I am reading...The book Look Great Feel Great by Joyce Meyer was recommended to me.  It was on my list of books to read, but I was urged to move it up to “next.”

I am hoping...
to have my own house.

I am looking forward to...Tulsa trip.

I am learning… it doesn’t matter.

Around the house...
ditto

I am pondering...  why I am paying so much for internet service that never works consistently.  The people at AT&T should be ashamed of themselves and so should their technical “support”.

A favorite quote for today... I am not old.  I’m a recycled teenager.

One of my favorite things... baby kisses.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
CR on Friday (maybe), Church homecoming Sunday.

A peek into my day...
(The finished product)

(Our feathered friend who's glad it isn't his heart and gizzard.)

UPDATE (02/17/13):  I abolutely loathed that painting.  I painted something else over it that was much better and gave it away.
