Are we educating, or are we just keeping the chairs warm for a certain number of hours? So MUCH corruption!!! Yes, we DO amazing things; however, I fear that's changing.<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2084517508325421309.post-84628356987736215432014-08-28T06:13:41.070-06:002014-08-28T06:13:41.070-06:00I don't think that the early start times have ...I don't think that the early start times have anything to do with sports. I think it's school board members just throwing darts at a clock and whatever time they hit, they pick. Now, starting school before Labor Day is just plain stupid. Another thing, it's amazing how they keep saying that the US can't keep up academically with other countries, yet we are the ones who come up with life changing innovations or medical discoveries. Thank God for a voice of reason on this!!! I NEVER understood it. Now it's the time. I saw an interview with a teen who has his first class at 7:25. That's RIDICULOUS!!! What about students with long commutes??? Do they have to get up before 5 a.m. just because the classes MUST be done in time for exhaustively long sport practices??? We wonder why kids aren't keeping up with kids in other countries. Let them sleep, focus on academics, and keep the damned sports to a minimum.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2084517508325421309.post-1023229783092932092014-08-27T15:24:44.365-06:002014-08-27T15:24:44.365-06:00I am, Joyce, thank you.
